Congratulations to our colleague Brian Davis for recently securing a defense verdict for M&P’s client in Norfolk Superior Court.
The case involved a slip and fall on snow and ice on a commercial property that resulted in severe bodily injuries to the plaintiff. The plaintiff filed suit against M&P’s client, the owner of the property, and sought recovery of an amount well into the six-figures. Brian successfully defended the plaintiff’s negligence claims against M&P’s client.
After a four day in-person trial, the jury returned with a defense verdict in under three hours.
