Michelle joined Melick & Porter after spending the majority of the past two decades practicing at an insurance defense firm south of Boston. There, her work focused on defending individuals and businesses in a variety of civil matters, including catastrophic personal injury and property damage litigation. She also spent several years defending medical professionals and facilities affiliated with Harvard Medical School in malpractice actions. Additionally, Michelle successfully briefed and argued to the Massachusetts Appeals Court that a pre-litigation recorded statement taken of an insured by her insurer was not discoverable under the relevant circumstances.
