Tom is a Senior Associate in Melick & Porter’s Boston office. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he was a member of the Men’s Division I Track and Field and Football teams. Tom joined the Firm in 2016 as a litigation paralegal, gaining experience in a wide range of complex liability matters while working closely with attorneys on all stages of litigation. He continued working full time while pursuing his J.D. from New England Law | Boston.
During law school, Tom served as a mentor in the school’s Law Student Mentorship Program, which provides guidance to first year students as they adjust to the demands of law school. Following his admission to the bar, Tom transitioned into his role as an attorney at Melick & Porter and has developed experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in complex civil litigation throughout Massachusetts. He has defended clients in jury trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings and focuses his practice on defending individual and corporate clients in general liability, professional liability, trucking and transportation, construction, and sexual abuse litigation.
When away from the office, Tom enjoys spending time with family on Lake Winnipesaukee, playing golf, and traveling. He is also an avid college and professional sports fan and enjoys following Boston sports teams and the University of Miami Hurricanes.
