Brian is a partner in Melick & Porter's Boston office. He focuses his practice on defending individual and corporate clients in complex civil litigation matters including general liability, hospitality and restaurant litigation, entertainment and sports litigation, construction litigation, transportation litigation and toxic tort, including asbestos. He is admitted to the state and federal court of Massachusetts. Brian has jury trial experience in the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts.  Brian has also arbitrated and mediated numerous claims using private dispute resolution entities.  


Brian was named a “Rising Star” in the New England Super Lawyers Publication in 2018 and 2019.  Brian is an Associate Board Member for the Boston Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, a member of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, and a member of the Boston Bar Association.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Brian worked as a paralegal full-time for Melick & Porter while attending New England School of Law. He also participated in the summer internship program at the Barnstable County District Attorney’s Office. While attending law school, Brian was an Editor on the New England Law Review. He published a Note in the New England Law Review on government tracking of individuals through cellular devices and potential Fourth Amendment implications. 

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stonehill College, where he played four years on the Men’s Ice Hockey Team.  


When away from the office, Brian enjoys playing ice hockey, skiing, and spending time with his family on Cape Cod.
