Shane is an Associate in Melick & Porter’s Boston office. His practice focuses primarily on the defense of civil matters involving general liability, premises liability, hospitality, and transportation law.
Shane earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. During his first year, he was accepted into the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, where he served as an intern. In his second year, Shane worked in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office within the Gaming Enforcement Division of the Criminal Bureau, investigating and contributing to the indictment of illegal gambling operations. He also served as a Student Attorney in the Juvenile Defenders Clinic, where he successfully advocated on behalf of youth in Boston’s Juvenile Court.
Shane received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire. While at UNH, he served as Vice President of the Pre-Law Society, helping students develop individualized LSAT preparation programs. He also pursued his passion for languages, studying Arabic, Portuguese, and French, and minoring in Spanish.
