Marissa is an Associate in Melick & Porter's Boston Office. Her practice focuses primarily on defense of civil matters involving general liability, premises liability, construction law, recreational liability, and transportation law.
Marissa graduated from Endicott College, summa cum laude, in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. During her senior year of college, she participated in a semester-long internship with the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. Following graduation, she worked in the Civil Clerk's Office at the Wrentham District Court.
Marissa joined Melick & Porter as a full-time paralegal in 2020 while attending evening law school at New England Law | Boston. At New England Law | Boston, Marissa was in the Sandra Day O'Connor Honors Program and earned several New England Scholar Awards as well as a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts. Marissa was also an Executive Articles Editor for the New England Law Review. Her Case Comment on jury selection in juvenile criminal trials was published in 2023. Marissa graduated from New England Law | Boston, cum laude, in 2023.
Outside of the office, Marissa enjoys attending Patriots games with her family, going to the beach in Rhode Island, and spending time with friends.
