Brian joined Melick & Porter after serving several years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where he rose to a position within the specialized Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Unit.  During his tenure, he investigated and prosecuted numerous major felonies including homicides, narcotics and human trafficking, and complex financial crimes.  As a prosecutor, Brian has tried over 50 District Court and Superior Court cases, including first degree murder and rape cases.

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.  He earned a full academic scholarship to Suffolk University Law School and graduated summa cum laude.  Following law school, Brian served as a law clerk to the justices of the Connecticut Superior Court.

Brian lives in Winthrop, Massachusetts, and enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and ice hockey.
