Rob’s practice is centered on the defense and litigation of a wide variety of civil actions in State and Federal Courts throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, including products and premises liability, insurance coverage and the defense of toxic tort and other long-term environmental exposure claims related to a number of chemicals, solvents and other toxins.  Rob’s extensive experience in civil litigation provides a broad substantive and procedural foundation for defending toxic tort and complex products liability claims.  His experience defending product liability claims involves, building products, consumer products, industrial machinery, transportation equipment, residential equipment and machinery, marine equipment and numerous others.

Rob represents a wide array of companies and works closely with a variety of corporate and expert witnesses to prepare cohesive litigation defense strategies.  Prior to joining the firm, Rob worked for four years at a Boston law firm specializing in insurance defense including product and premises liability, general insurance defense and municipal liability.

While in law school, Rob was the Lead Articles Editor for, “The Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.”  Following law school, Rob served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York representing the City in a broad range of claims such as police misconduct, negligent supervision, suits against the Board of Education, motor vehicle accidents and labor law.  While with the City, Rob obtained experience in all phases of litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial.  He litigated over thirty cases while with the City.

Rob is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.
