Mike focuses his practice on a variety of insurance defense matters, primarily focusing on employment and general liability cases.  Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP, Mike worked for a small insurance defense firm in Boston focusing on the defense of motor vehicle liability, property damage and product liability cases.

Before attending law school, Mike spent two years as a Software Engineer with Raytheon Company.  During law school, Mike interned with the US Army JAG Corps, in Fort Meade, Maryland.  He also worked with the New England School of Law Clinic Office as a Student Practitioner under Rule 3:03, representing clients in employment and divorce matters.

Mike is an avid golfer and a former member of the Boston College Division 1 golf team.  He is also an active member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association.

Mike is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
