Katie joined the firm in 2008 and concentrates her practice on the defense of complex general litigation matters.  Prior to joining Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP, Katie worked for an insurance defense firm in Braintree, primarily focusing her practice on insurance fraud defense.

While in law school, Katie was the Book Review Editor for the Health and Biomedical Law Journal and participated in the Disability Advocacy Clinic.  Katie also worked for the Rhode Island Public Defender’s Office and was a law clerk for a staff counsel office of a national insurance company.

Katie is currently on the Board of Directors for AmericaScores New England and a Youth Soccer Association District Select Coach.

Katie is admitted in Massachusetts.
