Erin’s extensive experience includes the defense of employment practices, insurance coverage, premises liability and professional malpractice matters. She recently obtained a favorable finding before a New Hampshire medical malpractice screening panel in a negligent EMT case. She has also obtained summary judgment on behalf of numerous clients, including a pre-fabricated building company in a negligent construction matter, the owner of a construction site in a wrongful death case, and the owner of a camp on a negligence claim involving a 12 year-old who broke his leg while sledding at the camp.

Erin also advises her clients on wage and hour and workers’ compensation matters. She co-authored the Massachusetts section of 50 State Wage and Hour Law Cumulative Summary in 2008 and 2009, and authored the New Hampshire section annually since 2010.  Erin also provides internal conflict resolution services to business clients.  As part of Erin’s New Hampshire practice, she enjoys acting as a private and Rule 170 mediator.

In 2013 and 2014, Erin was named a “Rising Star” in the New England Super Lawyers Publication.  Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Erin clerked for the Massachusetts Superior Court and worked as staff counsel for a national insurance carrier, defending general liability and workers’ compensation cases.

Away from the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and cheering for her children during soccer, hockey and karate events.  She also serves as a board member for Episcopal City Mission, a Boston non-profit organization that promotes economic and social justice, and is active in her church where she helps coordinate an outreach program to support widows and children in Malawi in southeastern Africa.  Erin was thrilled to have the opportunity to travel to Malawi in 2011 as part of a mission group.  Erin is also fluent in Spanish.
